Developing Community Structures

SECAD is committed to enhancing community structures in the South and East Cork area. We are committed to the development of quality local area community “fora” which will bring together local representative groups, representing diverse voices, which can enable information sharing and the development of local strategies. Such an approach should in turn add a clearer direction or offer more cohesive strategies for influencing policy at local or national level.

This work also aims to improve the representational capacity of disadvantaged groups on existing local structures.
