Lisgoold / Leamlara Community Council has 26 members. The aims and objectives are in accordance with Muintir na Tire founding ideals and aspirations.
Main activities include:- Parish Sports held in May at Lisgoold GAA pitch. Ongoing work in developing entry for Muintir na Tire's Pride in our Community Competition. Project for 2009 centred in Ballincurrig village
Active clubs in the community include Lisgoold GAA club and Lisgoold / Leamlara Ladies Football Club
