The event will be followed by a short session at 12 noon to identify the future Employment Law training needs of Community Groups who are Employers in the SECAD area
Who will benefit from this session
Volunteers in community groups such as
Community Councils,
Community Associations;
Sports Associations;
Family Resource Centres,
Community Development Projects
who currently employ staff or who are planning to do so (funding for staff members may come from various sources eg Community Services Programme)
Upon completion of this session you will
Be able to ‘de-risk’ your business by understanding the common pitfalls and knowing some of the basic steps to become compliant with employment law.

You will get the opportunity to network with other Community Groups who are currently employers
You will get the opportunity to map out a future SECAD supported training session on Employment Law to ensure that it is relevant to you.
Is there a charge?
There is no charge for this seminar which is organised by Graphite HRM
Those groups who attend this session will be eligible to identify and attend a further training session on Employment Law delivered by Graphite HRM and supported by SECAD.
