Keohane Seafood Ltd is a new company owned by Colman Keohane (Managing Director) and his father, Michael Keohane (Director). The company is based on the outskirts of Cork City and operates as a fish processing plant, specializing in producing fish for retail stores using a skin-film packing method. Skin-film is an innovative technique which works by taking all of the oxygen out of the product thus giving an extra four days shelf life and improved appearance. As well as just fish, some of the products are accompanied by complimentary cooking sauces.
