Time to Change Programme

  • Free 10 week course to help participants who want to find a job, return to education or training or to start a business.
  •  Enabling people to decide what their next step should be.
  •  Session on the financial supports available for people who wish to return to education or to start their own business.
  •  Jobs schemes are explained and information is provided on how to access them.
  • Session on how to prepare a CV and how to prepare for an interview.
  •  One to one support.

  •  Find out more about the Time to Change Programme from the Tutors and past Participants
  •  Visit Agency stands and discover the opportunities available in your local area.  Agencies include; the Department of Social Protection, VEC, FÁS/SOLAS, Employability Cork, Volunteer Centre, etc.

AIR² – Business Start Up Programme

  •  Free 10 week course Business Start-up programme with FETAC accreditation option
  •  Sessions 1 – 3 help you identify your entrepreneurial traits, assess whether you are ready to be your own boss, identify training gaps, set goals, assess your business idea. You can opt out of the course after 3 sessions.
  •  Sessions 4 – 11 cover business planning, commercial viability of your business idea and all other aspects of setting up your business.
  •  Introduction to small business finance and funding sources.
  • Full session on the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance.

    Towards Occupation

 Towards Occupation is a unique programme designed for those that are distant from the labour market as a result of a set back in their lives from which they have not yet fully recovered.  It is a free and confidential service.  Its aims are to provide training and guidance to support participants through the discovery of their personal occupational requirements.  This will include one to one support, group participation, individual and group training, progression opportunities and literacy support.
