SECAD bursaries for Diploma in Rural Development (Distance Learning)
South and East Cork Area Development Ltd (SECAD) is offering up to 10 bursaries for eligible candidates to undertake the Diploma in Rural Development course offered by the National University of Ireland. The programme will be delivered primarily by distance learning with five workshops throughout the year, one each in UCC, UCD, NUI Galway & NUI Maynooth. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the information supplied in the application form and by attending an informal interview if necessary. Bursaries for successful candidates based in the SECAD area will be funded through the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.
An information evening will be held on Tuesday 11th September at 6.30pm at SECAD offices, Knockgriffin, Midleton. Closing date for receipt of completed applications will be Friday 14th September 2012.
