SECAD Noticeboard 5th February 2013

SECAD Noticeboard

South & East Cork Tourism actively promotes the region of South & East Cork as a tourism destination using the brand of “Ring of Cork”. Over the weekend of January 25-27 our members manned seven stands at the annual Holiday World show in the RDS Dublin. We were delighted that the Ring of Cork cluster was the largest regional group promoting holidays in Ireland and we would like to thank the management and staff of the Quality Hotel Youghal, Titanic Experience Cobh, Fota Wildlife Park, Cobh Heritage Centre, Carrigaline Court Hotel, Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium, Lee Travel, and Cobh Tourism for flying the flag for South & East Cork.

Team Cobh at Holiday World Dublin

A special word of thanks to the Cobh Animation group who wandered around the show in period costume distributing information on Cobh. Minister for Tourism Michael Ring TD was especially enthusiastic about the “Ring of Cork” being a Ring himself.

South & East Cork Tourism is currently working on its 2013 tourism brochures so if you are interested in having your activity, accommodation, restaurant, or retail outlet featured, please contact Billy Mulqueen at 021-4613432 or by e-mail at info@ringofcork.ie.
