WREN – Women’s Rural Entreprenuerial Network, Calling all female entrepreneurs!

SECAD is delighted to announce it is recruiting participants for a new female entrepreneurship business training programme in the Cork area.Do you have a concrete business idea and wish to become self-employed or are you already in the early stages of business development? This accredited training programme is part-time and is designed to suit existing work and family commitments.

An information morning will be held on Thursday 14th September in the Radisson Hotel Little Island from 930 am to 11 am.  Both SECAD and Rubicon staff will provide a detailed programme description and will be on hand to explore your ideas in more detail should you wish to do so.

The entreprenuership programme includes:

  • Personal development
  • Practical business skills training
  • One to one and group mentoring
  • Female “role model” sharing of experience and support
  • Networking events
  • Learning events
  • Facilitated networking sessions
  • On-line learning supports
  • Many other supports

SECAD is working in partnership on this project with Ballyhoura Development in Limerick, and Cork Institute of Technology’s Rubicon Centre and Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence on its delivery.
