Supporting Employment
Our employment service aims to guide you towards the right supports depending on your needs and circumstances, be it unemployed or perhaps in need of short term job specific training and help to apply for jobs.
Who does SECAD Partnership aim to deliver employment support services to?
SECAD supports people returning to employment including people who are Long-Term Unemployed (LTU) and people experiencing issues ranging from literacy, mental health challenges and other barriers.
Additionally, we support people who are:
- Finishing employment schemes such as Tús, Community Employment (CE) schemes and the Job Path programme to help bridge the transition to from work placement to employment.
- Unemployed people
- People out of the workforce for extended periods (e.g. homemakers), not necessarily in receipt of a social welfare payment but in need of information or support to return to work and or training.
SECAD’s employment support team also actively works with local community services including local Department of Social Protection offices, adult education networks, family resource centres etc. to make links to best support clients. This support includes helping you to write an effective CV and to prepare for interviews.
Our service is impartial, non- judgmental and confidential. We would be happy to have a chat to determine if our service is right for you.
