Looking for work? Struggling with online applications?

Join us for a FREE, friendly, in-person workshop to help you to apply for jobs online! In this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Search for jobs online and find the right roles for you
  • Write a clear, strong email application (with subject line & attachments)
  • Complete online application forms and use agency portals (e.g. Jobs Ireland, Indeed, etc.)
  • Upload CVs and documents correctly
  • Set up job alerts and follow up with employers
  • Spot and avoid online scams

This workshop will help you to make every application count and give you the skills to move from Apply to Interview.

Come along and build your confidence in applying for jobs online!

There will also be opportunities to ask questions during the workshop and get expert advice on your career options.

All are welcome!


Who can attend?

Individuals who are:

  • Long-term unemployed,
  • Low-income or underemployed
  • From low income households
  • Refugees

You do not have to be receiving a social welfare payment.

SECAD Partnership provides free employment supports under the SICAP programme to help individuals facing challenges in entering or returning to the workforce. SICAP (Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme) 2024–2028 is administered by Pobal and co-funded by the Government of Ireland. It tackles poverty and social exclusion at a local level by providing tailored supports to disadvantaged individuals and linking them to existing services.

The workshops will proceed subject to demand and we will be in contact to confirm that you are able to attend during the week before the workshop is due to take place.
