A creative hub rooted in community
Supported through the LEADER programme

Greywood Arts transformed a historic coach house in Killeagh into a vibrant creative hub for East Cork.
The centre operates as a social enterprise, offering affordable studios, workshop and exhibition space, and a dedicated classroom – creating a welcoming place where professional artists and local residents can work, learn, and connect.
From hosting international residencies to supporting local groups like the Killeagh
Choir and reviving the May Sunday Festival, Greywood Arts fosters creative exchange at all levels.
This once-derelict space now links East Cork to the wider art world – celebrating creativity as a force for connection, expression, and community.
Visit the Greywood Arts website to learn more about the community art projects, educational workshops, and cultural events they organize, as well as the services they provide to professional artists.
Over the past 30 years, SECAD Partnership has supported more than 500 community infrastructure, building, and amenity projects, providing guidance and grant aid of up to €500,000. Each has made a difference locally – this is one such story.
