June Workshops topic

During June, our experienced Employment Support Officers will meet with you to answer the most frequent questions jobseekers usually have, such as:

  • Do I need several CVs?
  • How to prepare for aptitude tests?
  • Discussing salary at the interview
  • Do I have to upskill?
  • Are my qualifications still valid?
  • Where to find suitable courses
  • “Return to Work” supports and where to get them
  • Getting references
  • How do I start?

You are very welcome to join us and ask any questions you may have. We will be happy to provide advice tailored to your specific situation. Many SECAD clients started exactly where you are now and are now in steady, meaningful work they enjoy.

You will also have the opportunity to register for a range of free courses, including Safe Pass, Manual Handling, HACCP, Retail Skills, Enterprise Skills, and more.

How to register for our monthly employment support workshops

Workshops usually begin at 10 a.m. Each session includes registration, the workshop itself, a questions-and-answers segment, and a confidential one-to-one consultation to discuss your individual needs. We typically have 10 to 16 spaces available per workshop, and advance registration is required to secure your place.

Please register for the location where you would like to attend the workshop.
