SECAD recently completed a pilot programme ‘’Wellbeing in the Community’’ in Youghal to help empower people in the area. The programme for local community members ran in conjunction with the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) as Level 6 Special Purpose Award.
The annual Cork Birdathon is set to take place throughout Cork County on Saturday, 2nd December. The Birdathon aims to raise awareness of the incredible bird life that exists in Cork, and to encourage the public to visit locations on the South and East Cork Bird Trail.

On Friday last, SECAD was delighted to visit the wrap up session of Midelton’s Cork Young Filmmakers’ Summer Film Week held from 3-7 July.
