Interview skills
- Do you know what makes you nervous about a job interview?
- Find out the best ways to prepare for an interview!
It is natural to feel nervous before an interview but preparing well helps to reduce anxiety. When you are prepared, it helps you to provide clear answers which show off your skills and achievements and makes you stand out to interviewers.
During this workshop, we will share tips on how to prepare for an interview including using the STAR method and also using AI.
STAR means Situation, Task, Action and Result. This method helps interview candidates to clearly explain their experiences and demonstrate their skills effectively. During the workshop, we will show you how to create scenarios and provide you with examples of questions and answers using this approach.
Using AI to prepare for interviews
We will include how to use AI to find job-specific questions to practice with so that you are better prepared for the interview.
Who can attend?
Individuals who are:
- Long-term unemployed,
- Low-income or underemployed
