TÚS

Tús is a community work placement initiative providing short-term working opportunities for unemployed people ie. 12 month placements. SECAD commenced the Tús Initiative in July 2011 with an allocation of 220 places.

SICAP

The aim of the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2018 – 2022 (SICAP) is to reduce poverty and promote social inclusion and equality in Ireland through supporting communities and individuals using community development approaches, engagement and collaboration.

PEIL

The PEIL is the sole vehicle through which the European Social Fund will be applied in Ireland during the 2014-2020 programming period. SECAD has been awarded PEIL funding from the Department of Justice and Equality

LEADER Food Initiative

This initiative aims to support new and existing food and beverage producers to address emerging challenges through investment in areas such as market development, competitiveness, and innovation.

Leader

LEADER model until the new EU programme commences in 2023.

Erasmus

SECAD is a partner in the European Erasmus funded project – Transnational Education in LEADER Implementation (TELI2), with Limerick Institute of Technology as lead partner.
