This is what some previous training participants said about SECAD programmes;

This training was definitely worthwhile and I am pleased to have done it. It showed me what was required in setting up my own business, with the backing of a supportive trainer in a diverse class with a lot of other experiences and business ideas

Darragh M, Entrepreneur, Start Your Own Business 2012

I found this programme very informative and I learned a great deal. We completed weekly assessments which helped the learning process. I would recommend anyone starting out in business or anyone who is looking for help in any area of their business to sign up for a SECAD training programme. I will definitely be signing up for another programme in the future

Teresa L, Business Owner, Grow Your Business 2013

I have used the Market Research tools a number of times to assess the viability of products I have considered introducing into my business. The Social Media programme helped me understand the online options available to me and how best to utilize them to grow my business. I now have a more focused approach to Social Media

Catherine K, Business Owner, Develop and Test Your New Business Idea 2012, Social Media and Online Marketing 2013

These training programmes are funded through the Rural Development Programme 2007- 2013 and are open to individuals and businesses eligible under this programme.

 Time to Change 2014

  • I
  • Our introductions were done in a positive way,
  • This was part of our very first day,
  • We learnt how to have a positive attitude,
  • And how important it is to practice our gratitude.
  • II
  • We talked of encouragement and ways of making change,
  • The 30 day challenge and affirmations of a wide range,
  • As our confidence grew, and with our self-esteem higher,
  • We make collages from our hearts’ desire.
  • III
  • The mindfulness we practiced every day,
  • And it really helped us in a positive way,
  • A thought can be changed we never knew
  • But it’s only a thought so it’s easy to do.
  • IV
  • We really all blossomed on our journey of change
  • And learned of opportunities of a very wide range,
  • With the new friends that we made, and our faces alight,
  • We continue our journey, oh the future looks bright!
