SECAD Employment Support Workshops

SECAD Partnership will be holding a series of workshops throughout February and March for people who are currently exploring their options including jobseeking, self-employment or returning to education and training.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Creating a winning CV and how to shine in interviews
  • Skills which are currently in demand in the jobs market and how to develop or improve these skills
  • Returning to education & training including adult literacy, QQI, apprenticeships, etc.
  • Free & Funded Training
  • Self-employment
  • Government Supports

The workshops will be held in the following locations:

Who can attend:

Individuals who are:

  • long-term unemployed, low-income or underemployed
  • from low income  households,
  • refugees

You do not have to be receiving a social welfare payment.

Each participant will have the opportunity to attend a one-to-one meeting with a SECAD Enterprise & Employment Support officer to discuss their individual future plans.
