In our capacity as Community Benefit Fund Administrators, SECAD Partnership warmly invite you to attend an online information session on the current consultation process which is underway to help shape a strategy for the delivery of the Celtic Interconnector Community Benefit Fund over the period 2023-2026.

The €2.4 million fund will focus on supporting community-led projects under three core streams –

• i)community
• ii)sustainability
• iii)biodiversity

and will be delivered in phases over the period 2023-2026.

This consultation phase of the strategy development is critical to ensuring that the fund maximises its impact in local communities and meets priorities as identified by the communities themselves. SECAD is keen to hear from those living, or operating within a 2km radius of the cable line which will run between Knockraha substation and Claycastle, Youghal in East Cork.

This information session will provide further information on the consultation process and the online survey which will be open for submissions until Tuesday, 20th December 2022. The survey can be accessed here.
